Purchase of (4) four Units In early 2000’s my wife and I were looking at increasing our residential investment property portfolio in the North Queensland area. My wife’s sister had sent real estate listings to us to look at and we noticed that Progressive Realty had a listing for two duplexes on the one block of land, we rang Linda and discussed the purchase and the viability of the units as a suitable investment based on the cost and rental returns. On checking her records Linda advised that the property that we were interested in had just been finalised in the last day or so, this was very disappointing as the units were fairly new and well priced, fully tenanted and within walking distance to shops. (great location & Bricks and mortar). Linda asked could we give her a chance to find another property for us, we agreed and left Linda to work her magic, we did not know at the time but Linda had rang around asking people in the same location if they were interested in selling their property, to our amazement Linda had pulled it off with procuring an identical property next door to the one we missed for a simular value, great effort from a great person and honest and reliable Real Estate Agent with a motto that is true and correct. Due to work commitments and the distance from were we live I was unable to inspect the properties before I purchased them, I solely relied on my sister in-law and Linda to supply photos and details that allowed me to purchase the properties with confidence that they were as Linda had advised. It was about 12 months latter before I could visit the units with Linda and they were exactly as Linda had described them based on the photos and details supplied before purchase. I would have no hesitation in doing the same again providing it was with Progressive reality. Property management I have found dealing with a completely professional Property Manager like Progressive Realty has saved us a great deal of frustration. You have provided us with advice and have always followed up and carried out repairs in a timely manner that is both beneficial to myself and the tenants. Due to the professional approach of yourself and your staff, my units are well maintained and continuing to rise in rent and value. I would have no hesitation in recommending both your organisation and staff to any one that is interested in purchasing and or requiring property management services. When I look at the service that is supplied by property managers in my local area it comes to mind that they would not have a hope in hell to compete with the professional standing of Progressive Realty which only further encourages us to repurchase in the Mackay area. I live in Port Stephens NSW and I solely rely of Linda and her team to keep us informed and up to date with the management of my investment properties.

Linda has been looking after my property for a couple of years. Linda has gone above and beyond what I expected. Always professional, but also very friendly and easy to work with. She has always kept me informed, kept a good eye on my property, at the same time being mindful and looking after the tenant.
